Breakfast was a joke and the first room I was sent to both of my feet never even stepped into the room. I was sent to 3 rooms in just one night due to staff not knowing the condition of their own rooms. Floors look uncleansed for years. I couldn't even tell where the lobby door was located due to all the trash and debris. It's horrible to think you can book a room in advance to a known hotel chain and walk into a complete dump like that. I was so put down over the atmosphere after a few days that my crew and I relocated to another hotel chain.
It's exhausting to list what can be done to better the location. But far more mere to say, look elsewhere.

I can't say 1 good thing everything was awful
Upon arrival we were not given the two rooms we reserved the clerk claimed they didn't get our updated reservation information .when getting to the first room it was so dirty the sheets were stained the carpets smelled and we asked to move rooms when we moved and on the desk in the room was a used needle just disgusting.. We were told the building was under construction but that was an understatement... This hotel was horrible just horrible and I will never return and I may not use this website again because you didn't take responsibility and remove this hotel from your listing ..do better Booked.net not booking.ugh

It was not far from the airport and the driver to and from the air port were both very nice and professional.
Everything else about my stay at this hotel was horrible. I will never stay at a Howard Johnson again. This was the worst experience. The assistance manger was rude during the check in, the morning clerk was no better. The took was very dirty. I can't believe I stayed there, it will never happen again.

Leaving in the morning
The hotel was like a building site and absolutely filthy. I called the hotel from the airport when I arrived at 11.30 PM to have their curtesy car pick me up, as advertised, and had to wait over 30 minutes before anyone took the call. I feel I am entitled to a refund but have no expectation the hotel will do the right thing. I have no intention of staying at this or any other Howard Johnsons in the future.

The staff were great the front desk anyway. They seemed to been very nice and helped during the stay there. The two that were there appeared to be getting people signed in, cleaning rooms and doing laundry.
There were only two people That were working that evening I was there. The rooms were dirty and not cleaned when I checked into my first room I was shown another room And there was a larger dirty spot in the room. The breakfast could have been better. The area in the kitchen was not clean. But on a side note: the place is renovating and will be looking better soon. I feel that in the months to come the hotel will be in much better condition. As right now, it is not child safe due to all the electrical outlets exposed and the smoke detector down. So if you have children you must watch them in the place if they are with you. I wish you all the best with the renovations and hope to see an improvement the next time I come in.

The ONLY plus was the shuttle to the airport.
Under renovation...dust and debris everywhere. Unclean room. Room rate varied from over 200 USD per night for me to 59 USDollars for another guest!! Booked.net should be ashamed for listing this property!!

That was nearby The Cleveland Hopkins Airport.
Almost everything. It was for sure and by far the worst hotel that I ever have been. So expensive for a very poor service.

Absolutely nothing!
The desk service was horrible, they refused to give us the room we had booked, a double bedroom, and gave us a queen bedroom. It was supposed to be a non-smoking room but the room reeked of cigarettes. We were traveling with a pet and our dog ended up sick as a result of the poor quality of the hygiene. On top of this, I was charged extra money, on top of the pet fee and taxes, for some unknown reason and not even given a refund. I would not recommend this to anyone, I repeat, no one.

No wifi all three days, rudely awakened every morning at 8 due to construction right outside my door, little privacy, poor maintenance

nothing
dirty, looked like it was condemned. no ice in ice machine and when we asked for ice they said they would call in a half hour when it came and a hour and a half later we called them about it. curtins half off window, no wash cloths in room and the pool was green and when we went to leave the shuttle driver was very nasty and not nice at all. and also we were sitting outside waiting and a rat climbed up the from of the building. I paid 104.00 for a room that was disgusting.

The price was cheap compared to what else was available.
While the room had been cleaned, it was just so old and run down that it felt dirty. Carpet gross, bathroom mold, walls scratched and dented.

Nothing in this place was livable.
Rooms were filthy, crack heads were hanging around outside. Not a safe place to stay. The pool was filthy and not able to swim in it. Would not let my dog swim in it.
